These terms govern your use of www.vedhacon.com, including its guides, tools and AI assistant. By using the website you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
Paid engagements are governed by a separate signed agreement. Where that agreement and this page conflict, the agreement takes precedence.
Information, not legal advice
Jurisdiction pages, law summaries, articles, whitepapers, tools and AI assistant responses are practitioner guidance for education and orientation. They are not legal advice, and reading them does not create a lawyer-client or adviser-client relationship.
- Law changes. Statutes are amended, regulators issue new guidance and courts reinterpret settled positions. Material reflects our understanding at the time of writing and may not reflect the current position.
- Your facts matter. Outcomes turn on specific facts. General guidance cannot account for your data flows, your sector or your contracts.

Tools and the AI assistant
Readiness checkers, templates and calculators run in your browser and produce indicative output to support a conversation. They do not certify compliance and are not a substitute for an assessment.
AI assistant responses may be incomplete or inaccurate; check them against primary sources. Do not enter confidential information or sensitive personal data into any tool or the assistant. How we handle data you do submit is explained in our Privacy Notice.
Intellectual property
The content, structure, design and code of this website belong to Vedhacon or its licensors, except where a third-party source is named. Statutes and standards we quote or summarise remain the property of their publishers; our summary of a standard is not a substitute for licensing the standard itself.
What you may do
- Read, print and save pages for your own internal, non-commercial use.
- Share links, and quote short extracts with attribution and a link back to the original page.
What you may not do without our written permission
- Republish, resell or systematically copy substantial parts of the content.
- Scrape the website or use its content to train or fine-tune an AI model.

Acceptable use
Use the website lawfully and in a way that does not interfere with anyone else’s use of it. In particular, do not:

Fraud and impersonation
Vedhacon never asks for payment to apply for a role, and never requests fees for training or certification by private message. Treat any such request as fraudulent and report it to enquiry@vedhacon.com.

We link to regulators, legislation and other sources for reference and convenience. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices.
Disclaimers and liability
The website is provided “as is”. We take care over accuracy, but we do not warrant that the content is complete, current or fit for a particular purpose, or that the website will be uninterrupted or error free.

- Engagements. Where you engage us, the signed services agreement governs scope, warranties and liability.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Kolkata, West Bengal have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you may have where you live.
Changes, severability and contact
We may update these terms. The version and date above identify the version you are reading, and continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest continues in force.
